Carlleen previously owned Carlleen's K9's Dog Grooming Salon and Retail Store, located in Colchester, Connecticut. As a trained dog groomer, she began her small business out of her home. Within a year, her business expanded and she relocated it to town, where she maintained over 1,000 regular clients. Carlleen graduated from West Port Dog Grooming School in 1989. She has also been a registered nurse for the past 30 years.
Carlleen is now the proud owner of Carlleen's K9 Cuisine, Inc. - a healthy gourmet dog bakery that stands alone, offering free delivery within Saint Petersburg, South Pasadena, Gulfport, Tierra Verde, Saint Pete Beach, Pinellas Park, Seminole, and Largo, Florida. Carlleen personally bakes and packages her healthy gourmet dog biscuits, and gourmet dog birthday cakes.
